Venezuelan native – Bogotá, Colombia based, producer José Alejandro Parra a.k.a Japp Beats is one of the most exciting and innovative live acts to emerge from the Latin America electronic music scene.
Renowned for using a blend of analogue equipment he amazes audiences with his unique improvised shows. Weaving together a seamless mix of his own unique inspired sounds. His trademark sound is based on house-breakbeat-techno with Chicago and Detroit influences.
He is the founder/owner of his imprint, ‘Japp Recordings’, where he reworks his live material into DJ friendly tracks releasing regular EP’s and singles. Also he is the curator & resident at the Electroluxe electronic music events in Bogotá.
